I've been into drawing so much lately, that now I'm into card making. I love pretty cards and stationery. There is such a big market for scrapbooking, and the supplies are so abundant. I have 3 crafts store in my area, and I'm now hooked on the colorful stickers, papers etc. I don't actually do the scrapbooking, but rather do the card making instead. Here is a sample:

Colorful Mandalas
In the past month I have developed a new passion in drawing. I started drawing colorful Mandalas. Mandalas are a Hindu or Buddhist graphic symbol of the universe. A graphic circle with a symbolic pattern divided into sections, often bearing a multiple projection of an image. I use many colors and a repeat design to create the overall pattern. See sample:
Putting Pen to Paper
Putting pen to paper is one way of saying pen & ink drawing. For the past 25 years it has been a passion of mine. Many times over the years, whenever my hubby and I went on vacation, I made sure I packed black markers and a drawing pad.
When on vacation, if I saw an interesting scene, I would find a nice spot to sit and draw. Whenever I drew outdoors, somtimes I would attract a small crowd of people watching me. This sometimes made me nervous, but it did not deter me from my work.
I always used Sharpie ultra-fine black permanent markers and a watercolor drawing pad. I get my best results with these. Here is an example of one of my drawings that was not drawn on vacation, but drawn in my parents backyard.
